Bruno
Mars foi o grande vencedor da noite, ganhando todas as categorias em que estava
concorrendo, entre elas Disco do Ano, Música do Ano, Gravação do Ano,
Performance R&B e Álbum R&B. Já Kendrick Lamar levou quatro prêmios das
categorias rap (colaboração, álbum, música e performance) e Melhor Clipe. Ed
Sheeran ganhou dois prêmios (performance solo de pop e álbum de pop com vocal),
mas não foi à premiação. Já "Despacito", maior hit de 2017 e que
concorria em duas das principais categorias, saiu sem prêmios. Alessia Cara
ganhou na categoria Artista Revelação.
