Hoje é dia de resenha do filme Murder Mystery, em português, Mistério no Mediterrâneo. Já estava doida para assistir mais uma dobradinha dessa dupla fantástica que formam Adam Sandler e Jennifer Aniston, mas isso se itensificou mais com a fortíssima divulgação do filme em vários pontos de ônibus aqui do Rio de Janeiro, a todo momento me lembrando que o filme já havia estreado e que eu precisava assistir para resenhar. Vamos lá: O filme é uma comédia e mistério americano de 2019, dirigido por Kyle Newacheck, distribuído pela Netflix e estrelado por Adam Sandler e Jennifer Aniston. O filme é a sexta parceria de Sandler com a Netflix, e a segunda parceria dele com Aniston. Os dois já estrelaram juntos o filme Just Go with It (2011) . Murder Mystery tem previsão de estreia para 14 de junho de 2019.
Sinopse: Um policial de Nova York (Adam Sandler) finalmente leva a esposa (Jennifer Aniston) numa viagem à Europa há muito prometida. No voo, após um encontro acidental, o casal é convidado para uma reunião familiar íntima no luxuoso iate do bilionário idoso Malcolm Quince. Quando Quince é assassinado, eles se tornam os principais suspeitos, numa clássica história de detetive em roupagem moderna. "Mistério no Mediterrâneo" reúne Adam Sandler e Jennifer Aniston, ao lado de um elenco de prestígio internacional.
O filme é descrito como uma comédia romântica e mostra a empolgante dupla Adam Sandler e Jennifer Aniston como par romântico, mais uma vez, um policial e uma manicure de Nova York que estão juntos há 15 anos e que nunca tiveram suas merecidas lua de mel. Adam interpreta o policial Nick Spitz , frustrado por nunca ter conseguido passar na prova para virar detetive, e além desse detalhe, o personagem é mega pão puro e não nega suas durezas em vários momentos do filme, uma ótima cena para ilustrar essa afirmação é ver o personagem na fila de uma loja de conveniência pegando um cartão presente da Amazon de $100 dólares e logo trocar pelo de $50, sim esse era o excelente presente de 15 anos de casamento dele para Audrey. Após ser colocado contra a parede e perguntar sobre a viagem dos dois, Nick impulsivamente a surpreende com aquela viagem há muito prometida para a Europa.
Daí pra frente, o filme mostra uma viagem clichê no aperto para a Europa, com direito a situações que acontecem na classe econômica, como lugares apertados, tudo tem que pagar ou pessoas sem noção no voo, mas calma, o perrengue começa a mudar após a curiosa Audrey invadir a área executiva do avião, e quase ser expulsa pela aeromoça, o que não acontece, pois a aeromoça é impedida pelo charmoso e misterioso, Charles ( Luke Evans) que a convida para continuar na classe executiva com ele, além de convidar ela o seu marido para seguirem as férias no iate da família dele. A princípio, o casal reclina, mas ao verem o que os esperam no ônibus de turismo, eles decidem aceitar o convite de Charles e aproveitarem as férias que antes era no limite do orçamento, para algo mais ostentação.
Nesse momento que tudo muda e eles se metem em um verdadeiro mistério, sem muita emoção, com um enredo mais cômico do que uma comédia clichê que você provavelmente já assistiu. O filme não é muito empolgante e se perde em tantas cenas sem explicação. O enredo e os atores renderia um filme melhor, mas sabemos que com o peso dos nomes do elenco, qualquer filme com eles já está de bom tamanho. O final é bem confuso e sem pé e nem cabeça, parece aqueles finais onde você grava com vários atores os finais parecidos e no final escolhe mostrar os diversos ângulos e possibilidade.
Não vou dizer que o filme é horrível, você ganha um filme bom, com imagens lindas de Mônaco, boas risadas e um mistério para resolver. Esperava mais do filme, algo mais radical e menos bobo, mas é o que tem pra hoje.
